Sugar House District – Salt Lake City, Utah
Long ago in 1853, six years after the Mormon settlers came to the Salt Lake valley; the area of Sugar House was established. There actually was an existing sugar house but since the mill never arrived from France, the actual sugar mill was never completed; and no sugar was ever made however, the name still stands. The property and buildings now are used as part of Sugar House Park and Highland High School. |

| Sugar House is now extremely popular among the young professional set for remodeling and updating the old homes, and is currently one of the most desirable neighborhoods in Salt Lake City, with home values increasing rapidly and prices ranging from the upper $190,000’s to over $650,000. |
